It’s coming up to that time of year again where the next version of
SOLIDWORKS is released. To everyone that is currently in subscription, version 2018-2019 will be with you in July. If you haven’t renewed just yet, let us know and we’ll make sure to provide you with the details you need to get up-to-date with this ever-growing 3D software program.
Something that’s yet again included in the generous education edition subscription of SOLIDWORKS that we supply is the package of 60 free entries to the CSWA or CSWP examinations. These are SOLIDWORKS schemes that provide industry accepted certifications to show that either you or your students know SOLIDWORKS and can use it to an approved level.
Given that a recent search on Indeed Jobs for a specific competency in SOLIDWORKS resulted in well over 1,000 roles in the UK alone, a developer-issued certificate of this skill is a potentially invaluable nugget of gold on your student’s CV.
I’m sure if you’ve been inspired by this idea you’ve started to wonder “but what about preparing for an exam like this, what’s available to help us?”. Along with the examination opportunities, any active subscription also allows users of the SEK home-use licenses to access MYSOLIDWORKS. This portal is a great resource to help you prepare for the CSWA and CSWP exams along with just generally becoming more conversant in SOLIDWORKS.
If you’ve not already taken advantage of these great aspects of your subscription please get in touch with us on sales@techsoft.co.uk to find out how you can.
