UltiMaker 3D Printers

The Ultimaker Air Manager has an in-built particulate filter that catches up to 95% of ultrafine particles.

The filter should be replaced every 1,500 printing hours to maintain proper filtering. The printer keeps track of the filter usage time and will alert you when replacement is due.

To replace the filter in the Air Manager, go to Preferences → Maintenance → Air Manager filter → Replace and follow the steps on the touchscreen.

The PVA removal station provides a quick and easy way to remove PVA support filament from your finished prints with minimal operator time and no mess.

For UltiMaker 3, S3, S5, S7 machines.

The AA print core is compatible with all UltiMaker build materials, such as PLA, PETG, and ABS, as well as Breakaway support material.

The BB print core is optimized for water-soluble PVA support material.

Smaller nozzle sizes improve the resolution accuracy of print, whereas larger nozzle sizes allow for quicker prints. The 0.4mm nozzle is usually installed as standard and offers a good balance between resolution, precision and printing speed.

The CC print core is designed for use with composite materials, such as UltiMaker PET CF.

To work within the Ultimaker Metal Expansion Kit, Ultimaker have developed a new Print Core DD 0.4, a highly wear-resistant core to print the abrasive support material. No permanent hardware modifications are needed as print cores and materials can be simply replaced like any other print core or filament.

For UltiMaker 2+ machines. These nozzles are NOT compatible with the Ultimaker 3, S3, S5 or S7 machines.

The Ultimker 2+ Nozzles are available in four sizes of nozzle diameters (0.25, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8mm) - which are the size of the hole that the filament comes through. A smaller nozzle is best for high detailed prints, whereas a 0.8mm nozzle is used for fast prototypes as more filament can flow through the hole faster. The most commonly used size is 0.4mm.

*NB. The build speed relates to how fast the filament can be extruded through the hot end of the printer. The higher the mm3/s the greater the achievable print speed. Up to 24 mm3/s is industry-leading for a desktop 3D printer.

Magigoo Glue Metal is designed as a professional first layer adhesive with BASF Ultrafuse® 316L. Magigoo Glue Metal is non-hazardous, non-flammable and also approved for use in post processing stages of BASF Ultrafuse® 316L. Magigoo Metal also enables easy part removal of the green parts from the build-plate.

Each box includes 25 adhesion sheets. The adhesion sheets can be used for most materials to improve adhesion to the build plate. They replace the glue stick and can be used multiple times. It is important that the sheet is applied correctly to prevent air bubbles and to ensure a flat printing surface.

Dimafix is a spray tailored for 3D printers with FFF technology and Heated Bed. It provides great grip between plastic and glass, so warping is not a problem even in large ABS parts. You will be able to print in all kind of thermoplastic materials. While the bed is hot the adhesive effect will be working even in large prints. When the Heated Bed's temperature goes down the adhesion effect disappears and the model will be easily detached.

Dimafix Pen (90ml) maintains the same adhesion properties of Dimafix spray format but in dabber liquid format. It has a long useful life (more than 100 uses). It is water soluble so it is easy to clean. It works on different temperature range than Dimafix gas, so it allows the self dettaching effect of the piece sooner. This product does not contain any gas, is enviromentally friendly. You can also notice it great smell during the print. After you use it, close it and hold it properly.

For lubricating the axes of your Ultimaker. When you notice small ridges on the surfaces of your 3D printed objects or feel that the X and Y axes are dry it is advised to put a single drop of sewing machine oil onto the X and Y axes. This will help your Ultimaker running smoothly. Sewing machine oil is not included in the Ultimaker package, but we highly recommend to ONLY use this for lubricating the X and Y axes.

Eurol Grease is a protective and lubricating film for metal parts. It is virtually resistant to moisture, remains stable at high temperatures, resists oil and is chemically and mechanically stable. Use this to grease the Z-axis of your Ultimaker 3D printer.

Other printers that have a ball screw on the Z axis can also be serviced with this grease.
