Choosing the Port Number
- Open Device Manager on the computer. In Windows 10 you can do this by searching "Device Manager" in the taskbar.
- Drop down on Universal Serial Bus Controllers, then right-click on USB Printing Support and select Properties.
- Select the Details tab, then drop down to select Bus Relations and finally check the last bit of the value which should start with USB. This is the port to remember.
