Uninstalling the LaserCAM Star Printer Driver

This article applies to the air cooled LaserCAM Star range only. For printer driver information for the water cooled LaserCAM GT machines please contact us.

Uninstalling a LaserCAM Star Printer Driver

Turn on your computer without the LaserCAM attached.
Open the Devices and Printers window (Start > Devices and Printers in Windows 7; or right click Start > Control Panel > Devices and printers in Windows 8.1/10)
Click on the LaserCAM printer driver you are trying to update.
Click Remove device then confirm Yes.
Click on any other printer installed on your computer.
Click Print server properties.
Click the Drivers tab.
Important! Click Change Driver Settings.
Find and click on ‘LaserCAM_A1+’, ‘LaserCAM_A2+’ or ‘LaserCAM_A3+’ depending on which you are trying to uninstall.
Click Remove….
Select Remove driver and driver package then click OK.
Click Yes.
Click Delete.
Click OK.
Click Close.
From Windows open the folder C:\LTT.
Important! Delete the file ‘LTTLaserCAM_A1.ini’, ‘LTTLaserCAM_A2+.ini’ or ‘LTTLaserCAM_A3+.ini’ depending on which LaserCAM you are trying to update.
Please shut the computer down, wait 10 seconds and turn the computer back on (do not restart - restarting does not always remove the windows driver temporary files still on your computer).

The driver is now uninstalled. If you wish to install a new driver follow the instructions here.
