There is currently no way to transfer a file to the LaserCAM GT from TechSoft Design V3 via USB stick. This is a process that most schools would want to avoid due to IT policies restricting the use of USB sticks.

From RDWorks / LaserCAM GT Studio / Lightburn
You can transfer files via USB stick from RD Works/LaserCAM GT Studio, and from Lightburn.

1. First create your design as normal in the software.
   
   From RD Works/LaserCAM GT Studio: In the bottom right of the screen, click on “SaveToUFile”. This creates a “.rd” file which you can save onto a USB stick.
   
   From Lightburn: Go to “File > Save RD File”. This creates a “.rd” file which you can save onto a USB stick.
   
   
2. Insert the USB stick into the laser cutter
   
   
3. You can then load in the ".rd" file into the LaserCAM GT by the process explained in the video below.
