As competition for jobs and university places gets more and more competitive, a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) certificate, alongside GCSE’s and A-Levels will make any student stand out from the crowd. Employers and university admission officers will recognise the blue-chip credentials of SOLIDWORKS and understand CSWA/CSDA/CSWP as a highly credible measure of competence.
Included in the subscription is one free entry for up to 60 students/teachers to the CSWA, CSDA and CSWP examinations. CSWA preparation need not be onerous and is ideal for A Level students who wish to study subjects such as Engineering, Product Design, etc., at university. The School or College has to register for the exam and then obtain "vouchers" (effectively PIN codes) for students wishing to enter. The exam has a three hour time limit and is taken on-line at whatever time or date suits. CSWA Tutorials are built into MySolidWorks (see above). Full details of the examination and how to enter can be found at
www.solidworks.com/certification. Teachers too can formally show their competence with free entry to the Technology Educator Competency Exam (TECE). Teachers passing both the CSWA and TECE examinations gain the SolidWorks Accredited Educators Certification.
