SOLIDWORKS Network Edition Installation Guide



Note: This page is only relevant to users installing the Network Edition of SOLIDWORKS.

Installation of the Network Edition of SOLIDWORKS involves the two steps below.


1. Install SolidNetWork Licence Manager onto your server computer

Your server computer holds your SOLIDWORKS licence. All user (client) computers running SOLIDWORKS must be able to communicate with the server computer as each time the program is started up, it checks for the licence on the server computer.

2. Install SOLIDWORKS onto your user (client) computers
